The project was conceived in 2020 during a peculiar time: Manfredi found himself stranded on a Caribbean island with only a weed dealer for company, while Joseph was temporarily unemployed and bored. Producing in isolation, the duo found themselves in an especially creative state, sharing sounds and sketches as interesting ideas arose, and they finally connected in Ibiza to develop the music together and turn it into an early draft of an album. The music embraces their shared musical roots (IDM, Drum and Bass, Ambient), contrasting boldness with intricacy, melody with sound design, subtleness with intensity.
